テクダイヤのフィリピン人スタッフの強みとは
私はテクダイヤに入社して3年に成ります。テクダイの京都工場(京都技研)に4年間、研修生として在籍していました。その後、正社員となりました。 テクダイヤでは、2名のフィリピン人が当社の目標を達成するためにさまざまな仕事に携わり、日本人スタッフはもちろん様々な国のスタッフと一緒にチームとして働いています。
It has been 3 years already since I came back to Tecdia-HQ. Actually, this is my second time as regular employee of Tecdia after my job at Tecdia-Kyoto for 4 years. In Tecdia, we have 2 Filipino regular staffs engaging in many different tasks to meet our company’s goals, and working together with Japanese workers and other foreign staffs as a team.
京都技研時代から私は、テクダイヤの社員がフィリピン人スタッフに対して、日本人と区別なく接するという考えを高く評価しています。
Since Kyoto period, I have been appreciating Tecdia’s idea of employing Filipino staff and treating them as like no other employee.
私は現在テクダイヤ本社で品証部に所属しています。品証部の仕事の他にもフィリピン人として多くの長所を持っていると考えています。
Now, apart from my job as Tecdia-QA Staff, I have thought of alot of advantages and not any disadvantage of employing Filipino staffs.
そんな長所を下記に紹介します。
Such advantages are:
① コミュニケーションブリッジ (架け橋)
It is very easy to let CMI(Philippine Overseas Manufacturing Plant) people understand the concept and thought that any Tecdia staff would like to relay to CMI through a Filipino staff since they can translate Japanese to multi-languages like English, Bisaya (Cebu dialect), and Tagalog (Philippine National Language). The relay of instruction, information, and idea runs smooth in this case.
② CMI研修生へのフォローアップ
When I was working in Kyoto Factory, I picked-up and send off CMI trainees coming to Kyoto Factory. CMI trainees are partly ashamed to talk to Japanese staff, and are greatful if a Filipino staff would do it. In times of sickness, mansion-related troubles, needing assistance to go to a certain place, Filipino staff is their immediate person.
③ CMI社員へのモチベーション
It motivates CMI employees to do well in their job since there may be opportunities to work abroad someday, or be given task for training.
今後も、品証部スタッフとしての仕事を頑張ります。また、フィリピン人としてできる、様々なことに楽しんで取り組みたいと思っています。
I expect to enjoy and do more than just a job of a QA-staff in the next coming years to come.
